Update 7.21.2020 - Thank you Ryan and Roy for reaching out! Ryan and Roy called to ensure the matter was handled, and to see if it could be settled. They both apologized and were empathetic to the situation. We were able to come to an agreement and now I have moved them from 1 to 5 stars. Whatever the "after hours call center" issue was they said they are looking into it and would like our continued business. My husband and I agreed to review their packages for possible renewal. Thank you again Ryan and Roy for reaching out and showing concern regarding this matter. Our AC went out on Saturday 7/11/2020 at 6:30 pm so we called Acclaimed Home Warranty. We were told to watch our email and expect the contractor's information within 3-4 hours. We received the email with the contractors information. I called the contractor's number at 8:30pm for a possible ETA and the auto message (which said to dial 0 for the operator) said the "0" I dialed for the operator was invalid. I called Acclaimed again at 8:30pm (after having called the contractor's number) and 10:30 pm when I still hadn't heard anything from the contractor. Acclaimed said they were just a call center and would make a note and send it to the contractor. Still no AC in the house and the next day (7.12.2020) temp was 102 with a 117 heat index. My husband finally Googled (RLC services) the contactor and found they were not open on Sunday. In fact, they closed 5pm Saturday (7.11.2020) an hour and a half before I made the initial call! Don't you think Acclaimed should research their contractor's hours of operation before sending my request to them? Well, the next morning (8:30 AM) I called again and Acclaimed once again told me they were just a call center and would make a note for the contractor. I told them RLC was closed and they needed to send out another contactor ASAP! They said they would make a note and send it to the "new" contractor. Their lack of care was ridiculous. When I asked to speak to a supervisor, I was told "no" that their supervisor couldn't speak customers. So, after I hung up with them, I called Elite Comfort Home AC services and they made me an appointment for that day and someone was on the way. Within a few hours we had AC before the afternoon heat hit us. Go with Elite! Their service was a complete 180 from the (lack of) service I recieved from Acclaimed. Acclaimed is terrible, and I do not know why I even pay for the warranty. Elite only charged me 79.99 for their services whereas Acclaimed was going to charge 69.99 for an initial fee and 69.99 after the technician was done. Any way, I remembered we were given a card for a ROY DAVIS, Brand Manager, when we bought the house, and was met with a Voice Mail that he was on vacation. I still haven't heard back from him regarding my complaint. A full 24 hours later! Still no AC contractor from Acclaimed! I never told them Elite was on the way or had fixed the issue. I figured two techs are better than one if they showed up at the same time or whatever. BUT NO ONE SHOWED UP! I cannot tell you how livid we were with the lack of care and service given by the "just a call center" Acclaimed Home Warranty has.

I'm updating my review based on my recent experience with Acclaimed. Ryan has been very helpful and has gone out of his way to make sure that I was informed through the rest of the repair process. The repair company was here today with parts and everything is now functional again. My impression of the company has now changed and I am pleased to have a home warranty with them!
